Built to stay on. Nothing on the nails.
Padkind is a paw grip we're designing for older dogs who slip when they get up. A soft cuff anchors just above the paw. A rubber pad covers the whole underside. The front stays open, so the nails stay free.

2 a.m. You know this sound.
Nails scrabbling on the hardwood. A slow slide. Then the look your old dog gives you from the floor.
- You've tried socks. They slid down.
- You've tried something on the nails. It came off by morning.
- You've tried the sticky pads. They lasted a week.
Everything you've tried holds on in the wrong place.
Nobody notices a dog starting to slip. They notice the fall.
Where it holds on matters
Socks hold on with a tube. Nail grips hold on with the nails. Pads hold on with glue. Padkind is designed to hold on somewhere else.
Built to stay on
A soft cuff closes at the pastern, the narrow point just above the paw, with one strap. No tube to slide down. No ring to pop off at 2 a.m.
Built to grip when turning
A rubber pad is designed to cover the whole underside, with a raised, rolled edge. Traction all around, for the moment your dog twists to stand up.
Nothing on the nails
Open front. No rings, no caps, no glue, no squeezed toes. The dewclaw stays free.
Replace the pad. Keep the sleeve.
When the pattern on the pad looks smooth, swap in a spare. Same sleeve, same size, nothing to re-measure.
Measure the paw, not the weight
Sizes are planned by the width of the front paw while your dog stands. Weight tells you nothing about a paw.
Planned set: 4 sleeves, 4 spare pads and a printed paw ruler.
Not a medical device. If your vet has a view on your dog's joints, their advice comes first.
Where we are
Padkind is not for sale yet. Here is the honest status.
- ✓Design drawnCuff, side straps, replaceable pad, open front.
- 2First samplesMade to the drawing, then measured for sizing.
- 3Testing on senior dogsWe'll check it stays in place through a normal day and leaves no red marks on the skin. If it doesn't pass, we change the design before anything goes on sale.
- 4LaunchWe're aiming for spring 2027. That can move if testing says so. People on the waitlist hear first.

One number you can take tonight
Stand your dog on a hard floor. Measure the front paw across the pad, side to side. Write the number down. That's the number our sizes will be built on.
